The Commission Process

The process begins with a discussion of your ideas. You can provide reference photos, or we can develop something entirely original together. We will go over key details, including the subject matter, size, mood, color palette, and preferred medium. Once I have a clear understanding of your vision, I will create an initial pencil sketch and provide a detailed quote, including pricing and timeline estimates.

To officially book your painting, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. This secures your place in my schedule and allows me to begin the work. You will receive progress updates throughout the painting process. Once the artwork is complete, I will send you a final photograph for approval. The remaining 50% balance is due before shipping.

For oil paintings, I allow time for varnishing to ensure longevity and protection. Every painting is professionally packaged and shipped with the utmost care, arriving wired and ready to hang straight out of the box.
